For 17 years, our Queen Street West location has been home to Nadège Patisserie, our café and pastry shop. Today, that story continues, with the opening of Chez Nad—two concepts, one address, and a seamless culinary experience from morning to night.

Chez Nad is the natural evolution of 17 years of gastronomy with Nadège Patisserie—a full-circle moment in my family’s culinary journey. Tucked behind our flagship at 780 Queen Street West, this space is deeply personal: an extension of my home and my story. From my great-grandparents and grandparents owning a pastry shop, to my parents running a restaurant, food has always been the language of our family. Chez Nad is an ode to that heritage. “Nad” is my nickname, and when you step inside, you are truly entering chez moi. This is an elevated French bistro rooted in bistronomie—where thoughtful, locally sourced ingredients meet exceptional French cheeses. Classic Lyonnais and French dishes are reimagined with a modern, playful twist. More than a restaurant, Chez Nad is a place for everyone, built around community, generosity, and the joy of sharing a table".

Our story

Text on a black background that reads "Nadine Nard" in pink cursive font.
A small brick building with a white storefront sign that reads 'A PIECE,' situated on a busy street with blurred cars in motion. Overhead power lines are visible, and there's a snowy sidewalk with a few trees in the background.
